Melissa Marcus Vicente
Melissa started Synergy Twirling in 2005 after a long career in competitive baton twirling. She was a member of Encore Baton Club and won the 2002 and 2003 WBTF World Championships with the team. She also won three World Bronze Medals with the team in 2004, 2006, and 2010. Melissa is also the 1998 US Senior Grand National Two and Three Baton Champion. She was the feature twirler at Florida State University from 1999-2002 and at the University of Miami from 2002-2005. She is the director, coach, and choreographer of Synergy Twirling Team in South Florida. Synergy has won the 2008 and 2009 Senior Small National Dance Twirl Team Championships. Melissa is currently working on her doctoral degree in Exercise Physiology at the University of Miami. She is married to Nick Vicente and they live in Miami, Florida.
Jennifer Marcus
Jennifer is a coach and choreographer for Synergy Twirling Team. She is a 32-time US Grand National Champion in the Solo, Two-Baton, Three-Baton, and Strut Event. She was also a member of the two-time World Champion Team, Encore. She has also won two silver medals at the World Championships in the Senior Women event. Jennifer has been a member of the US World Team 14 times. She was a feature twirler at Florida State University from 2002-2005, and she is currently the twirler for the NBA team, Orlando Magic Stunt Team. Jennifer is one of the most decorated competitive baton twirlers of all time and travels around the world coaching and performing. She currently resides in Orlando, Florida and plans to expans Synergy in the Central Florida area.
